Goodbye 2011

Image
Another year under my belt whilst I'm quickly approaching my 29th birthday, Eeek! All in all I think it was a good year. Lots to be thankful for my wonderful family, my sweet boyfriend and his family, my puppy little bear, my friends, my health, and my job. Of course the list goes on and on, I feel so blessed. I have some goals for 2012 not necessarily resolutions (I will do a post on those later). 2012 I welcome you with open arms and all the good things you have to offer. I wish all my readers, family, and friends a peaceful and prosperous New Year! Love, Nae

Scary Cute!...

Sooo it's pretty much been forever since the last blog. My life has been seriously crazy and I barely even get a chance to sit down at my computer which I hope now that it's getting cooler I will have more nights in than out. Guess what!? I moved yet again! I moved into a cute little house with my friend Rhonda. She is buying it so we get to do whatever we want to it. It's been hard work like painting, pulling up carpet and tack strips!!! It's soo cozy though I just love it. I painted my room "Sunny Tulip Yellow" it's gorgeous. I will do a house tour once we get new carpet. My room is staying with the wood floors they are soo pretty. I NEED to start working on my Halloween costume, I won't reveal what it is until I know for sure it's gonna happen. I'm just in love with our Fall weather in here in Colorado. THe air is crisp and the pumpkin spice lattes are amazing! I'll be back soon, scouts honor! lol xoxo. Ren

Saturdays are good days...

Image
Happy Saturday everyone! This year has been flying by already and had been super busy for me. Between work, cleaning, crochet, and helping my mom with her Scentsy stuff I just go with the flow, meanwhile the clock just keeps on tickin'. Today was kinda busy I worked until noon then when home and got ready for my little two year old Audrey's birthday party. This party for a two year old was INSANE! They had a cotton candy machine, a two-tiered cake, minnie mouse chocolate covered apples, chocolate covered marshmellows, a bounce house, pinata, tattoos, games, dress-up, pizza, a giant minnie head made out of dum-dum suckers!!! There was more but I just can't remember it all. My nieces has a great time and I guess I did too, then again I'm just a big kid :) I'm off work tomorrow! Gonna clean and get organized for the week. Here are a few photos from today at the party!

Welcome winter, Welcome 2011...

A little view from my window. It's finally actually snowing here in Pueblo, Colorado! Other than the fact that the roads are completely icy and I can't really drive anywhere I soo happy it's snowing. It's been coming down since about 3 pm Thursday off and on and right now (around mid-night) there is a pretty steady downfall of flakes. What a perfect way to end a pretty good year. Not too much has really happened this year but it was pretty good to me. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming year and all it's surprises it brings. Here are some goals I've decided to work on in 2011! * Pay off some bills * Get a DSLR * Build my savings account * Buy a new car * Lose 10 lbs. * Ride my bike a ton * Go on a little camping trip this summer * Discover 5 new bands * Go to more shows * Load/Update my Etsy shop * Participate in at least 3 craft shows * Build my stock for the craft shows * Get my blood sugar under control * Go to Zumba Most of the goals are fairly s...

Christmas 2010 was a great one...

Image
I have the cutest nieces ever! This is their little Christmas picture they had taken this year. I love it. This has been one of the most relaxing Christmas' ever. Besides the whole crocheting my butt off even on Christmas Eve thing it was awesome. I spent the first part of my day working and running errands then that evening went to my parents to spend time with my family. My brother and his girlfriend cooked a yummy ham dinner. After we ate we just hung out, took a family photo (look for it later this week), and exchanged gifts. I got some pretty amazing things but the best thing I got was the time I get to spend with my family. I know alot of people don't get to be with their families for the holidays for one reason or another so I am just grateful I am able to. After we opened gifts at my parents I went over to Jeremiah's parents to hang out and exchange more gifts and also have a "white elephant exhange" too. It was really fun and kinda hilarious because ...

Only 4 more days....

I'm done shopping, I'm done wrapping! I'm still working on some Christmas orders though. Hopefully tomorrow I will be done. I have been scarce online lately due to all the orders and work. I love the holidays but man they are busy. I haven't really even done much baking either. How is your holiday season going!? Merry Christmas!

Wednesday Window Shopping V.1...

Image
Happy Holidays! Today is the first day of December in case you didn't know - which means you only have 24 shopping days until Christmas left!! This is the first year EVER that I have actually been on top of my shopping through out the year. This only leaves me with a select few I still need gifts for. So instead of doing my "Wednesday Wishes" post I'm changing it to "Wednesday Window Shopping"! I think more than likely this will be a permanent change since I LOVE SHOPPING. So here we go... I think this would make a really awesome gift for that studdly coffee or hey even cocoa drinker in your family or a quirky friend! I have a set minus the mustaches (I wish I had these instead) I love them :) {via} Now how about these for the cute and fun baker in your family!? I just think they are soo cute and I have been drooling over them for quite sometime. I have no idea why I haven't bought them yet. {via} I think these lovely Moccasin Slippers would make suc...

Cookie, cookie, cookie...

So it's Monday, we all know I don't do well on Mondays. Today is actually going by kinda fast though so it's not too bad. Last night we had our first snow here in beautiful Colorado! It was so pretty :) I'm currently in the midst of organzing my very first "Ugly Christmas Sweater & Cookie Exchange Party". I'm beyond excited for this little shin-dig. As my mom said "Ugly Sweaters & pretty Cookies sounds like a good time!" The rules and regs for a good time! 1. Bring two dozen cookies 2. Bring a copy of your recipe to share 3. You can bring a container to take your cookies home if you would like 4. If you don't bake or have time bakery cookies are ok! 5. Wear and ugly Christmas sweater, the ugliest will win a prize I'm having the guests rsvp what cookies they are bringing to avoid having multiples of the same recipe this way we have a good variety. I think I'm going to make a few batches just to snack on too. We will be s...

Happy Thanksgiving 2010...

Image
I just love holidays because you get I get to have all my family in one place at one time! Today I had time around 2pm with my family than I had to work from 4:30-7:30, my roommates are cooking here too so that will be round two for me! It's been super duper dead here at work so I finally got to watch part 2 of the Bad Girls Club reunion. Which just happens to be my gross guilty pleasure! he he he! I just can't help myself. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day filled with loved one whether they be family or friends. I know I have soo soo much to be thanksful and I just feel blessed for everything. Happy Thanksgiving! xoxo. Ren

A night of rest for me and my hands....

Image
I decided to take the night off from crocheting and let my wrists rest. I use them all day long for work and then I'm knitting and crocheting while I'm working and I don't want them to burn them out since I have quite the work load yet to work on. I did finish 2 more owl hats and a green peoni hat. Not much else is really going on around these parts. Jeremiah and I need to find a good spot to take our annual Christmas pictures. I would like to take a little trip up to the mountains but we shall see. I'm so excited for the holiday seeason. I'm almost done with my Christmas shopping which is AWESOME! Then I can focus on all the fun and meaningful parts of the season. This year since I am staying with friends we will be decorating here. It will be pretty neat since this is going to be the first year they have ever put up a full size Christmas tree and went all out with decorating. I just love the feeling of holidays. Last year felt weird for some reason and I ...

Last couple weeks in review...

This last month has totally flown by! So here is a little run down of what I have been up to lately. This past weekend I we had our biggest craft show of the season the Holiday Fair at the State Fair grounds. I sold a ton! I was so happy that people loved my stuff. Some people bought multiple items. It was fun to watch pick out what they wanted and try stuff on themselves and their kids. I got a few custom orders to fill as well so I need to get those done this week. My dad made all the at stands and the scarf display in the photos. He is so awesome! I'm so glad and thankful to have a handy daddy. Now for the Halloween preview... Jeremiah and I went to a Ween Concert on Broomfield Colorado. It was really fun. I loved the hotel we stayed in too, It was a two bedroom suite right next to a cool shopping center. That evening we went and ate at Jason's Deli before we started getting ready for the show. Jeremiah was Dr. Zoidberg from Futurama and I was a scary doll. Here are some pho...
