Scentsy Stampede and Work...

Image
Hello Lovlies! So my medical leave of absence is finally winding down *tear* I took one to get my diabetes under control and let me tell you I feel completely better! Still tired but I don't think that will ever go away but my numbers are good, I've lost weight, and I feel happy. I go back to work on Monday and I'm actually ready to go back, I guess I needed a break from the stress too. So in other new the Scentsy convention in Fort Worth, Texas was soooo much fun! I don't even know where to being telling you about it! Which is why I've been putting off this blog! I'll give you a quick run throughs of each days of the trip and end each post with some pictures :) There is too much to cover in one post! *We left early early Wednesday morning & caught our plane in Colorado Springs thanks to my little sis driving us to the airport* We switched planes in Denver after our 20 minute flight in a teenie tiny plane to the Dallas/Fort Airport* From there we took a va...

Water and sleep my bffs...

So I woke up today around 12:30pm! What a lazy butt, I know. Jer and I went to a show last night in Denver and didn't get home until around 2 am. I am so glad I took today off work in advance because I knew I was going to be dead tired. I was kinda right. I feel like I'm on a "fun" hangover, completely drained and parched! I drink soooo much water all day long when I don't drink every fifteen minutes I can't handle it. I LOVE water and water bottles. You should just see the ever growing collection of them. This habit of collecting bottles always killed my mom and now the hoarding is slowly taking over the kitchen too! Once I decide to roll out of bed today I'm gonna clean and re-organize the kitchen cabinets. I'm short so I need to move things I always need to the lower shelves. So our little excursion yesterday was quite lovely. We took off to Denver about 2pm. Went to eat at Thai Basil one of my favorite places ever! The food is so yum and the prices...

A Broken Social Scene Weekend...

Image
This weekend was so much fun! Jeremiah and I took a little journey to Boulder, Colorado. We got tickets for "Broken Social Scene" on Saturday night. So we went up around noon on Saturday, checked in to our hotel, and headed for downtown. I love Boulder the scenery it so pretty and the shopping is awesome! We found the venue for the show and parked close by then just walked to the "Pearl Street Mall" which is an out door mall with tons and tons of cool little artsy shops and musicians playing up and down the street, magic acts, and there was a cowboy (I wish I got a picture) who was completly painted in bronzed paint and looked like a statue, it was pretty cool. I got some of the most awesome boots from the "croc store", bright yellow rain boots! We ate at a place called "Lazy Dog" it was tasty and the brownie sunday I had was so delicious. After dinner we head to the venue, got stamped and tickets taken, we decided to sit during the show s...

My dream suitcase...

Image
Dream Suitcase by pandamonium83 featuring Sessun dresses This time next week I will be in Omaha. I'm super excited to get out there and see my friends and their baby. This Polyvore collection is what I would pack in my dream suitcase...meaning if money weren't an issue and I could drop 2,000 on a purse, ha! I don't think I could spend that much on a purse even if I had the dough for that. Anyway this would be my outfit for the wedding... sweet & simple! I love all the accessories too.

Ready to take flight...

Images found via WEHEARTIT So I have purchased my ticket for my flight to Omaha at the end of August. I'm going out to visit my dear friend Adria and her adorable little family. I miss her so much and haven't been out since her baby shower. Since she has had her little bundle of joy and I can't wait to meet the little babe. She will be having her swank little wedding while I'm out there as well and I can't wait for that either. I can't decide what to wear I have about three dress to choose from but just can't come to a decision. We will see maybe I'll just take them all with me, if you know me at all or even if you don't I'm telling you I NEVER pack light. Oh I try but then it's like what if this happens, what if it's cold, what if we are doing alot of walking, blah, blah, blah and then poof my suitcase is packed to the brim! Kevin, Emory, & Adria I've also purchased my bridesmaid dress for my friend Kristen's wedding in Octo...
