Life with Poe: Consumed!

My life has forever changed since I had Poe -- She is my everything. We are at the 2 month mark and MY OH MY has time really really passed. She is just the cutest little thing. At first I was a little nervous becoming a mom but it seems like everything from calming Poesy down to sterilizing bottles has come quite natural for me. Every minute of everyday is all about you Poesy Girl!!! I love your guts!!!

My Labor & Delivery Story...

I'm finally getting around to writing my labor and delivery story! So here we go... February 21st I woke up at about 6 a.m to use the restroom, when I got out of bed the under part of my belly felt really weird... it was kind of tight and achy which pretty much felt like bad gas pains. I didn't think anything of it and went back to bed but couldn't fall asleep. I had been sick for a couple weeks already and was fighting off a really bad cough so I was gonna call off work but decided to just work until 2pm since I had a WIC appointment and breastfeeding class anyway. So after laying in bed for awhile the pain started to move around to my back as well, it felt like a complete band of tightness and a little pain around my entire waist and back. The pains would come and go and I was still convinced it was just gas. I decided to call my sister and ask her if she thought they could be contractions and she thought that they were probably just "braxton hicks" (b
