My little eggplant...

Image
Our little babe is now the size of an eggplant! She is movin' and groovin' ALL the time now. They are big strong movements and it's fun to watch my stomach move around. She's starting to develop more fat, so her wrinkly skin will start to get smoother now. Baby will keep getting bigger -- and smarter -- after week 28, and other than that, she just needs a few more finishing touches. Nothing new is really going on here on the home front. Although I did do quite a bit of outfit shopping this week for her. I just can not resist! Baby clothes are just the cutest and I'm looking forward to dressing her in all sorts of fun outfits. After Christmas I will be going full throttle on the nursery and I can not wait to get that done. Well that's about it for this week. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas filled with family, love, and peace. xoxo. Renae

My little Panda Butt is the size of a rutabaga! Baby's lungs are going through some major developments these days, which (combined with the opening of previously plugged nostrils) means she's now able to practice inhaling and exhaling. The lack of air in my womb means every "breath" is filled with amniotic fluid. 27 weeks means I am officially in my 3rd trimester!!!! This little babe is going to be here before we know it and I am preparing for her every single day even if it just a little cleaning or crocheting she is always on my mind. Today we had an ultrasound and got to see a perfectly clear picture of her little face. I'm in love with her little nose it's just like her daddy's! My mom and Jeremiah both got to come so that was nice too. She is currently weighing 2 lbs. 11 oz. and has chubby cheeks. The doctor said everything looks good and she seems to be right where she needs to be as far as size goes. They are monitoring her size closely due to

My Little Sweetie...

This last week literally flew by! I even got behind on my weekly post. So as of the 26th week Baby Girl Cruz is the size of a head of lettuce, her eyes are forming, and she'll soon be practicing blinking. Most movement is at night but I feel her all day long now. We had our Dr. appointment on Monday. Everything was good news as usual with another slight increase in my insulin. The baby's heart beat was fine once the Dr. found it because she was hiding at first. It didn't worry me though cause I had felt her moving on my way to the appointment so I knew she was in there just being a little stinker. This coming Thursday we have another ultrasound scheduled, I can't wait!! I made a ton of progress on the nursery this week. I packed all my craft stuff, moved my work station and cleared out all my other random stuff. I bought two rugs for the room too. Now we just need to move some other furniture out of the room and the paint the dresser and move it in. I think we wi
