Arcade Fiber!...

Image
Hello There! It's been a ghost town around here on the blog. Trying to keep up with everything is so hard. I'm gonna try to schedule a weekly time to at least blog twice a week. I miss writing. Soo here is a little run down of what's been happening and going on here in my little world. I finally got to see Arcade Fire!!! It's was amazing and more. I had so much fun. Jeremiah and I met up with some of our friends Cameron and Liam. We went and had hot wings before and after the show, ha ha! It was one of the only places open in the area so and we weren't ready to turn in yet so that's how that happened. At the show I danced the entire time. I got the most comfy and soft zip-up hoodie, I love it. Here are few projects I finished lately. I made them for a trade with another crafter. She sews and I got two amazing bags in trade for the items in the photos below. Happy Mother's Day weekend! xoxo. Ren

A night of rest for me and my hands....

Image
I decided to take the night off from crocheting and let my wrists rest. I use them all day long for work and then I'm knitting and crocheting while I'm working and I don't want them to burn them out since I have quite the work load yet to work on. I did finish 2 more owl hats and a green peoni hat. Not much else is really going on around these parts. Jeremiah and I need to find a good spot to take our annual Christmas pictures. I would like to take a little trip up to the mountains but we shall see. I'm so excited for the holiday seeason. I'm almost done with my Christmas shopping which is AWESOME! Then I can focus on all the fun and meaningful parts of the season. This year since I am staying with friends we will be decorating here. It will be pretty neat since this is going to be the first year they have ever put up a full size Christmas tree and went all out with decorating. I just love the feeling of holidays. Last year felt weird for some reason and I ...

Finished Friday...

Hey Yall! I hope you had a fantastic Friday. Mine was alright considering I has to work. I didn't make it to my young adults group tonight at church because my car or as Jeremiah calls it "little weird" is kinda out of commision. My driver side window in stuck in the down position and of course it had to rain so I couldn't go anywhere. It's ok I needed the little nap I took instead with little Salem. She is soo adorable and she's my cousins baby whom lives me. She will one year old on Monday and it seems like just yesterday she was born. She is so silly and she loves me. Her birthday party is on Sunday so I have a few thinsg I need to make for the shin-dig. Should be really cute because it's an owl themed "Look Whooo's One!" party. Salem Delaney! Soo sweet! Here is my little project I finished this week. I think they came out adorable but I'm considering making one more purple shroom to go with the set. I think I might even post...

Bright colors make me happy...

Image
I love rainbows!!! I realy do and always have. I remember when I was little my Aunt had a piece of what looked like a piece of a textured sheetrock, like a piece broken out of a wall or something. It was BRIGHT blue and she told me it was a piece of the rainbow. I don't know what it was or where it came from I was probaly around age 5. All I remember is that that I always thought if I got close enough to a rainbow I could break off of piece of my own. Funny how most people want the gold at the end of the rainbow but all I wanted was just a little piece. I would keep it forever if I could get my hands on one! :) In the words of Dolly Parton: " If you want the rainbow you gotta put up with the rain." (all images found on weheartit.com) I hope your week is off to a good start! Sweet Dreams. xo. Rennie
