I'm baaaack! It's been forever since I've blogged. Just been super busy and barely online which is amazing for me because I usually "have" to get online. Here is a new trend you will be seeing on here weekly. It will consist of my finished products/projects I've completed during the week. I might throw in some UFO's (unfinshed objects) here and there too :) Here are my little Russian dolls I completed earlier this week. They are crocheted with felt/embroidered faces. I finally learned how to crochet in the round and must say I'm addicted. Sorry about the picture quality it's late and the best I can do right now. I will post better pics at a later date with more detail. toodles. Ren

So this is my Wednesday...

Today was a pretty good day. I woke up went and had some blood drawn, which was totally quick and painless! That lady was amazing I was out of there in less than 10 minutes with paperwork mind you, now that's service :) Then I stopped over by my rents but my mom a little busy and my allergies were starting to act up so I didn't stay too long. I came come lounged for a little bit then got ready and met Jeremiah at one of our favorite restraunts, Tian Jin it's chinese food. I had sweet & sour chicken and it was yummy. Jer had the usual poop egg fu yuck! I'm mean pork egg fu yung, the only thing I like on that plate are the sprouts and broccoli but he loves it! Then we came back to my place and we watched a movie "Worldest Greatest Dad". I really liked it but it was a little morbid/bizarre, which is probaly why I liked it! You should check it out if you have the chance and let me know what ya think. We actually got it out of the Redbox, which I was ki...

It doesn't seem like it matter how much sleep I get I'm still so tired. I've been downing the coffee like no other and it still doesn't help. I think I'm just in a little funk or something, I need to snap out of it fast because sleeping is a waste of time, especially during the day in my opinion. I have been semi-productive this week. I'm working on a ladybug hat and some more Easter trees. I got some new circular needles from Knitpicks and they are awesome! I love them. I got two pairs one in the harmony wood and one in the nickel plated since I usually have multiple projects going anyway and wanted to try them both out. Here are some photos of my fireplace looking fabulous in time for great spring weather we have been having. Even the girls are ready for Easter with their bunny ears!

Eggie Weg Anyone?...

Image
Today was an okay day at work. The calls coming in were pretty slow, so I was able to get quite a bit of stuff done. I decorated my fireplace which I'll post on tomorrow. I also decorated this little tree I got for $1 and it came out so cute. The whole thing cost me $2 because I already had everything except the tree and the eggs. I really never got into decorating for Easter like I do for all the other holidays but this year since I have to little babes living with me I want to make the house fun and springy for them. Here's what I started with: Here's the finished product!: Bird's Eye View: I think I want to make a few more for gifts since they are so cheap to make, but in my opinion don't look like it. Tomorrow is Friday, YAY! Only two more days of work until I get another day off. Those days off are what keep me going :) xo. Rennie

Eat Me!...

Image
Eat Me! by pandamonium83 featuring Disney bags Here's a collection I put together that was inspired by Alice in Wonderland :) I can not wait for the new "Alice in Wonderland" movie to hit the theaters! I'm so stoked, I think we are planning on checking it out IMAX style. Should be great since I LUFF! Tim Burton's work and he hasn't let me down yet. My niece is having a Alice Tea Party in May for her birthday and we are going to dress up for it. I can't wait for that either! I need to start keeping track of ideas of stuff I want to make for it and start making them before I put it off and don't have time to do it all. Are you excited to see the new movie? Will you be going to the theater to see it or wait until it comes out on DVD? Don't eat the mushrooms! xo.Ren

Bright colors make me happy...

Image
I love rainbows!!! I realy do and always have. I remember when I was little my Aunt had a piece of what looked like a piece of a textured sheetrock, like a piece broken out of a wall or something. It was BRIGHT blue and she told me it was a piece of the rainbow. I don't know what it was or where it came from I was probaly around age 5. All I remember is that that I always thought if I got close enough to a rainbow I could break off of piece of my own. Funny how most people want the gold at the end of the rainbow but all I wanted was just a little piece. I would keep it forever if I could get my hands on one! :) In the words of Dolly Parton: " If you want the rainbow you gotta put up with the rain." (all images found on weheartit.com) I hope your week is off to a good start! Sweet Dreams. xo. Rennie
